Akuapem Poloo may be going through one of the most darkest periods of her life after she was sentenced to 90 days imprisonment owing to a nude photo she took with her son.
Her judgement has attracted many varied opinions from the public and the latest to speak is the Apesemakahene of Mampong Akuapim, Nana Yirenkyi I.
In an interview on Accra FM, Friday afternoon, the chief stated that though he griefs with Akuapem Poloo, his outfit and the entire Akuapem land do not recognize her as one of their own.
According to the Chief, this is so because Akuapem Poloo has not shown any substantial proof of her claim to being from Akuapem.
He stated that all his engagements to get her prove her ancestral lineage to Akuapeman has been futile and though he feels sorry for the misfortune that has befallen her, people shouldn’t try to drag the name of Akuapem people into it.
