Multiple award-winning Ghanaian songwriter and recording artiste, Kofi Kinaata has disclosed that his mother is not mounting pressure on him to give her grandchildren.
The VGMA songwriter of the Year has stated in an interview on Kastle FM in Cape Coast that his mother still sees him as a baby and is not pressuring him into either marriage or giving her grandchildren.
No one is mounting pressure on me because my parents have never talked to me about having children and giving them grandchildren. As for my mother, I’m her last kid so she still sees me as a child who is still young and not someone who should rush to give birth”.
The “Susuka” hitmaker also told the host that he consults his mother before sometimes he purchases certain things. He added that anytime he wants to buy a car, he has to convince her mother to agree to it before purchasing because she still sees him as a baby.
“Even to board my automobile, I have to persuade my mother first because she believes I’m the young boy Kofi she gave birth to” Kofi added.
