Shatta Wale has opened up about the likelihood of him running for president of GHAMRO or MUSIGA and has indicated that he is not cut out for such positions.
While speaking in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr FM during the ace radio host and EIB CEO’s birthday, Shatta Wale said he was all for Ghanaian artistes winning and cashing out on their works.
He however said he was not willing to be at the forefront of such initiatives but was ready to support some of his colleagues to reach such heights and develop the music industry.
When pushed to mention names, the Ayoo hitmaker said he was ready on any day to root for colleagues such as Sarkodie, Ayigbe Edem, Okyeame Kwame, and Stonebwoy should they declare to run for president in any of the music-related apex bodies.
Explaining further, Shatta Wale said not everyone had the qualities needed for such offices therefore he was not ready to stick his neck out to lead such outfits.
It is common knowledge that Shatta Wale has always crossed swords with heads of such music bodies and has called them out for not working hard enough to promote the interest of Ghanaian musicians.
While speaking on the matter, Stonebwoy walked into the room and reacted to Shatta Wale’s vote of confidence in him.
Stonebwoy joking said even though Shatta Wale had reposed so much confidence in him, it was a huge endorsement and that the Taking Over singer was giving him “pressure”
