A couple of Senior Ghanaian citizens have joined the #FixTheCountry protestors on some of Accra’s main streets, demanding that the government should improve its governance.
At 7 a.m today, the demonstrators assembled at Obra Spot oat Kwame Nkrumah Circle and marched to the Black Star Square to climax the demonstration.
Hundreds of the protestors were dressed in red and black, with many holding banners with inscriptions expressing their dissatisfaction with the country’s current state of affairs.
An elderly man and a 72-year-old woman were seen marching alongside the youth to demand accountability, decent governance, and better living conditions from the ruling administration, according to images obtained by our outfit.
The old woman whose name is reported to be Akosua Yeboah after being asked the reason behind her cry answered that the country has things in the country has changed and the hardship is so much that her children are not able to provide for her anytime she asks for something from them.
The bereaved woman was spotted being consoled by fellow demonstrators from the ‘FixTheCountry’ movement.
Meanwhile, some NPP foot soldiers have also countered the #Fixthecountry demo by quizzing the agitators of the movement what exactly they want Nana Addo to fix.
